Read pages 119- 152 in the Pharaoh's book.
Literature: Now that you have finished all four myths, it is time to write an essay.
Choose one of the following topics and write a 500 word/ 2 typed page essay:
1. Choose two gods from one of the four myths and compare and contrast them
explaining the influence they had over the Egyptian people.
2. Using examples from the myths, explain the obsession the Egyptians
had with the afterlife.
Please make sure that you use examples from the myths.
Please bring your copy of The Epic of Gilgamesh to class.
