2. Compare and contrast God the Father and Satan in the epic. Use three characteristics and give specifics from the text.
3. Based on the text of Paradise Lost, how do you think Milton would justify his alterations and additions to the Bible given the fact that he claimed to be a devout Christian?


Medieval History: Complete new study sheet and read about Gregory the Great or Chapters 35-37 if you are using the text.

US History: Read Chapter 12 and work on your president's list.
