Ancient History and Literature Tues/Thurs October 26

Please keep in my mind that it is the end of the first quarter. Your grades will close a the end of next week.

There is a performance of Shakespeare's The Tempest at Bob Jones University on November 18.
I would love to take a group of students. The tickets are $12.00 and I will need to know if you are interested in attending. We will leave CBC at noon and return very late that night.
Please let me know ASAP if you plan to attend. Moms are welcome!

History: Complete your study sheet and read Chapter 24 of SWB's Ancient History.
Your exam will go home with you on Thursday.

Literature: Complete the at home study guide questions on the Epic of Gilgamesh.
Epics will be due on Nov. 4.

Congratulations on finishing Uncle Tom's Cabin. Please remember Red Badge of Courage for next week.

You do not have any vocabulary words, but you need to complete the research handout for reviews. Please research and find two reviews for Uncle Tom and answer the questions. Please locate both a Northern and Southern view.

Write a short essay (200 words) answering the following question: Is slavery a Christianity issue? Why or why not?
You may use your book and scripture.
