Vocabulary: Exam on 50 Greek and Latin roots. We will complete this first thing in class.
Literature: Finish the Hitler biography. Please make sure you have a copy of The Hiding Place. You will continue reading even though you are researching for your paper.
We will watch the film Miracle at Midnight in class. Your parents and younger siblings are invited to join us, The film is 89 minutes long, so it will take the majority of the class time. We may run a few minutes late.

This paper will be due on April 5. You will have a lot of time to work and edit. I will teach formatting on March 5 and 12. Please work in my timeline.
Research and discuss in 2000-2500 words one of the following:
1. Compare and contrast the rise of power of both Hitler and Stalin.
2. Research and discuss the influence of Hitler and Stalin on the world.
3. Research and discuss the use of propaganda and its effects as used by Hitler and Stalin.
