We will watch the film Miracle at Midnight in class. Your parents and younger siblings are invited to join us, The film is 89 minutes long, so it will take the majority of the class time. We may run a few minutes late.
Prompts for your paper:
This paper will be due on April 5. You will have a lot of time to work and edit. I will teach formatting on March 5 and 12. Please work in my timeline.
Research and discuss in 2000-2500 words one of the following:
1. Compare and contrast the rise of power of both Hitler and Stalin.
2. Research and discuss the influence of Hitler and Stalin on the world.
3. Research and discuss the use of propaganda and its effects as used by Hitler and Stalin.

Medieval Literature: Do your best to finish reading Ivanhoe. Use you character list if you need it. We may watch a film in class. Begin reviewing the prompts for your research paper.

Research the following:
1. Does Hitler have a tomb? If so, what is on the stone?
2. What is the word for the hatred for a specific group of people?
3. Find one song written during WWII. Be ready to share at least the lyrics.
