Wednesday a.m. American Literature
Vocabulary: Be prepared for your original quiz on the derivatives.
Literature: Finish reading Up from Slavery.
Please go on line and listen to BTW's address to The Altlanta Exposition.
Write a short explanation of his address. You may need to read the text to understand it.
Make sure that you explain his words, "Cast down your buckets where they are."
This should be no more than 500 words.
We may need to postpone our field trip because of my absence this week. I am working on it.
Also, I will supply the text for many of the poems for your unit.
Get ready to memorize!!!
